International Program

The university has recently been making efforts to promote of internationalization. We currently send our students to Europe, Canada, the United States, Australia, and Asian countries as exchange or international students. We also hold training courses for five languages abroad. The Miyako Global Campus Project application has been adopted twice (2016-2019 and 2020-2023),  and the University has now signed academic exchange agreements with 60 foreign universities, colleges, and institutions in 15 countries and  regions, allowing exchange students and visiting scholars to study or conduct research at the University, in addition to formally admitted students from abroad. The summer program, which began in 2017, has been well received by participants, and the Japanese Language Program has begun in the fall semester of 2018 and is expected to host more international students. Our university will continue to increase the number of partner universities abroad and further advancing our internationalization.
