Japanese Course

Students acquire a broad knowledge of Japanese language, culture and literature through the ages. The Department offers many opportunities for students to experience the traditional culture and classical performing arts of Kyoto.

Department of Literature
English Course

Students acquire practical English language skills and a deep understanding of the literature, history, and cultures of Britain, the U.S.A., and other English- speaking countries, such as Canada and Australia. The Department aims to help students obtain cultural knowledge and English communication skills required of today’s global citizen.

Department of Primary Education

This Department offers a practical curriculum to help students become kindergarten teachers, elementary school teachers, or childcare nurses in two years. Students can study for three types of licenses that will support their intended careers.

Department of Apparel and Space Design

Through learning design, apparel, interior design and architecture, students explore the question of what makes life truly rich and learn cultivate the ability to create such a lifestyle. The Department offers a variety of practical classes which will enable students to prepare for various qualifying examinations, and which will be helpful to them in their future careers.
